I am not sure how it happened, a misspoken word, a quizzical look that caught her by surprise, or just a clumsy slip that propelled the drop of champagne from the corner of her mouth. But as the effervescent droplet cascaded from her lips, my world transformed itself centering on the sparkling drop.
